{Oui Oui}

Most of the members of my immediate family are taking a luxurious trip to France this coming August. They will be visiting some far-off distant French-ie relatives on a quaint farm in the french countryside.Unfortunately, due to timing, money, work, and a plethora of other annoyingly ordinary reasons I will not be attending this little adventure of sorts.

However, this fact has not stopped me from becoming inspired by some sleek yet simple french ceramics from L'atelier de Madame M. today. I love love love them.

Also, these beautiful photos of Paris by Alicia Bock will make you want to sink in to a giant bed made of croissants, while simultaneously sipping a cappuccino and listening to the serene rhythms of Madeline Peyroux.

You can buy prints from her Etsy shop.

{Little Twig by Leah Dull}

I swear this is NOT a blog about babies. It just so happens that I make baby bibs. "How random?" you might say. To which I would respond "Yes, it is very random", especially since the thought of bearing children at this moment in time makes me want to crawl under my bed and cry. However, in all my pregnancy phobia I must admit I'm just really into baby stuff. I mean who wouldn't be these days? Babies have become the ultimate Eco-friendly, design savvy, trend setting accessory. They sleep in cribs with sleek designs, wear clothes that i genuinely want to buy for myself, and eat organic, free range foods. Babies are awesome. So, for this reason I have decided to contribute to baby awesomeness by creating stylish bib-wear to sell to only the trendiest babies. I've been trying to think of some catchy tag lines to use.... maybe something like:
"Spit up in Style" or "Not your ordinary bib" or maybe even "Spit up never looked so good"
Just some ideas, but I'm open to suggestions. Stay tuned for more on Little twig.

{Lake the Babe}

I spent the morning snuggling on the couch with this really great guy. He's good-looking, well-dressed, oh-so-charming and best of all he loves to laugh. Surprisingly, it's not my hubby Chris. It's my babe of a nephew, Lake. Check this guy out! Try not to be jealous about how ridiculously attractive he is, it's not his fault.

{Welcome}

So it's day 1 in my new life as a blogerista [Blogerista: (noun) A witty style-savvy female who adds creative, useful, and sometimes meaningful insights to the blogisphere.] So far things are going great- No bad reviews or annoyingly long blog entries. If you're like me... than you usually "read" blogs for the sprightly anecdotes on life, trendy design ideas, or just merely stalking the personal photos of friends and distant acquaintances. If you feel like I've just read your mind then you are in luck - this blog is definitely for you - and this is just the beginning.
