{Never a Dull Moment}: {Saving the earth one scooter at a time}

Chris and I are all for "going green", reducing our carbon footprint and hugging trees. I mean, we're practically vegetarians and sometimes even vegan and that's gotta count for something when it comes to saving the earth. Right? We also tend to vote democrat which i'm sure throws a few more extra kudos in our reusable shopping bag of life.

But, After months of sharing one car, carpooling to work, and getting stuck in countless transportation predicaments we decided it was time to invest in another vehicle to make life easier. Ridiculous but true. We started the painstaking process of looking for a used car- the only problem is that used cars are... well... used.... and still too expensive for us if we wanted one that would last. So, we looked and we looked for the perfect car for Chris. We looked for a car until I could literally fill out the car search specifications on auto trader with my eyes closed. We looked for months, and it doesn't help that I am married to a verrrrrry sloooooooow decision maker (love you honey, but true).

Finally, when we had reached the burn-out, pull-my-hair-out, I'm so-done-with-this phase of used car shopping we decided it was time to reconsider. We thought about it long and hard and realized that we may not need a car after all. Finally the answer came to us..... A SCOOTER! With 100 miles to the gallon it meant that we could keep the go-green lifestyle we had become accustomed to, and another set of wheels meant Chris could be a mobile man. Now, our wallets love us and so does Jesus for keeping the earth clean. Also, scooters are way too much fun to ride. Win Win Win. A few days later we were the proud owners of this affordable beauty.
